Job summary

Crestron is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CREWS) team. This senior level role performs and supports advanced facility maintenance, repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and operational activities across New Jersey and New York locations.

The technician will lead a maintenance team, diagnose complex issues, mentor other technicians, manage work orders, and ensure safe, compliant operations while supporting after-hours

Qualifications

• 4–6 years experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 required or willing to obtain within the first 90 days.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication.
• Valid NJ/NY driver license and ability to travel between campuses

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC/BMS and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety and building systems.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.
• Execute and support preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Lead multi-trade tasks including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general construction repairs.
• Inspect facilities, power equipment, and building systems; identify and resolve potential issues.
• Support low-voltage cabling, network infrastructure, and audiovisual system installations as required.
• Create, manage, and complete work orders; maintain records and logs.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors ensuring safety and scope compliance.
• Lead safety initiatives, enforce LOTO procedures, and support emergency response activities.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
• Mentor Maintenance Technicians and promote continuous skills development.
• Provide timely operational support across locations and assist after hours or emergencies
