Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seeks a General Services Technician for Sesame Place in California. You will perform diverse maintenance tasks across the facility, including plumbing, electrical work, and safety inspections, while ensuring water quality and occupancy safety for guests.

The role requires climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and ability to obtain relevant certifications within a year; a California driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to obtain certifications such as AIMS or NAARSO within 1 year.
• California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities maintenance including plumbing, painting, concrete work, natural gas supply, fire systems, playground safety inspections, and stadium bleachers.
• Inspect and green tag water attractions including water quality management and filtration maintenance.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical wiring, devices, motor overhauls, and controls.
• Complete safety, environmental, asset management, and other administrative documentation.
