Job summary

McKesson Corporation seeks a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our 350,000-square-foot distribution center in Clear Lake, Iowa. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and automated distribution equipment to support safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of related experience and strong electrical/mechanical skills, with ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with conveyors, automated equipment, motors, drives, or material handling systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades on facility infrastructure and automation to ensure uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues using drawings and schematics.
• Support motors, drives, compressors, power distribution, printers, strappers, and PLC-controlled tech.
• Partner with operations, IT, vendors, and contractors to complete maintenance projects and improve reliability.
• Promote a safe work environment following OSHA/LOTO; mentor maintenance team members.
