Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. Lead a team, manage schedules, and coordinate contractors while upholding safety and quality standards across maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include hands-on maintenance, diagnostics using blueprints, and budget reporting.

Qualifications

Vocational or technical certification with 3 years' related experience.
Alternative: 6 years' related experience in plumbing, electrical or related area.
Valid state driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last five years.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
Inspect, diagnose, and document wear, damage and repair needs using blueprints and manuals.
Lead and oversee work of less-experienced associates, providing hands-on training.
Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, and contractor coordination.
Operate heavy machinery and company vehicles following safety protocols.
Compile and report budget and expense information including warranty claims.
Promote adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
