Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets. You will work across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment, using hand and power tools, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes responsive maintenance, diagnostic testing, and timely completion of work orders to support store operations and customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades.
• 1 year's experience using intermediate-level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move on ladders, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across craft skills.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
