Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in San Diego, CA seeks a Facilities Maintenance Specialist III to maintain utilities, labs and cleanrooms, ensuring use-ready, compliant facilities supporting biopharma manufacturing and aseptic filling operations.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, manage CMMS entries, plan work with management, train junior staff, and coordinate with vendors across multiple facilities. Regular travel and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience.
• Minimum 4 years of cGMP experience preferred.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Thorough understanding of support and clean utility systems, and cleanrooms.
• Working knowledge of cGMP.
• Ability to effectively work as part of a team, and independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities, utilities, labs, and cleanrooms in use-ready, compliant state.
• Monitors and responds to BMS alarms.
• Interfaces with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Conducts inspections to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Trains junior staff in facilities maintenance trades and safety procedures.
• Assists management to plan and schedule preventative maintenance work.
• Orders and stocks supplies, spare parts, and equipment.
• Completes CMMS entries and required training.
• Travels between facilities to support all functional areas.
• On-call during natural disasters or inclement weather.
• Maintains professional behavior aligned with company policies.
