Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and maintain Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, 5 years of trades experience (or 7 years), and basic software skills. We offer a sign-on bonus, a work vehicle and tools, strong training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in trades (plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related) or 7 years' experience
• 1 year of software experience (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
• Can lift up to 75 lbs
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills
• Use work order system to manage repair work orders and document activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools
