Medtronic is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities in Plymouth, MN. You will lead teams, manage resources, and support business needs through strategic facility planning and execution.

The role emphasizes safe, cost-efficient operations with responsibility for planning modifications, space allocation, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma and 3+ years of Facilities experience.
• Experience managing financial and material resources is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and project management skills are expected.
• Ability to manage personnel resources and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities.
• Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications with cost estimates.
• Develop policies for the facilities department and oversee space allocation.
• Coordinate communication services, expanding facilities as needed and ensuring safety standards.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensure timely corrective and preventive maintenance and record work orders in CMMS.
