Job summary

American Airlines in Fort Worth is seeking a seasoned facilities leader to oversee space planning and construction for a 3 million sq ft corporate campus. You will guide project scope, budgeting, and schedules while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to deliver on program requirements.

The role requires a TX-licensed architect or interior designer with 10+ years in facility development and strong leadership to manage teams and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management or equivalent experience/training.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in design, planning, development, and management of facility construction projects including master plan projects.
• Prior experience in construction or facilities development.
• Licensed Architect or Interior Designer in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Space planning and space management for a 3 million sq ft corporate campus.
• Development of project scope and definition documents.
• Work with internal departments and external stakeholders to establish program.
• Develop and manage tactical and strategic facility plans.
• Assist in selection of leased real estate as needed.
• Prepare and manage procurement processes for projects.
• Develop and manage project estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Oversee design and construction documents.
• Oversee furniture selections and specifications.
• Provide written and verbal project status reports.
