Job summary

Sotheby’s New York seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee hard and soft services at the New York complex and off-site storage. You will deputize for the Americas Real Estate & Facilities Director and lead a team, coordinating with FM service providers to meet health, safety, and company standards.

The role emphasizes space management, contract governance, and continuous improvement to ensure optimal environments for staff and visitors, whether in the office or remotely.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with MS Office skills.
• Senior facilities management experience across multi-property estates.
• Experience with FM outsource service providers.
• Workplace and space management experience.
• Strong contractor management and service agreements.
• Excellent communication and people engagement.
• IOSH managing safely qualification.
• CAFM/OfficeSpace and CAD experience.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FM Service provider relationships and SLAs.
• Oversee building maintenance, M&E, and fabric.Oversee all hard and soft services and ensure 100% uptime.
• Manage space planning and occupancy using OfficeSpace and CAD.
• Ensure health, safety, compliance, and risk management across sites.
• Coordinate projects, budget planning, and capital investments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
