Job summary

Nightwing in Sterling, VA seeks a dynamic Facilities and Project Site Lead to oversee day-to-day site operations while driving facility improvements and infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 12+ years of experience in facilities operations, engineering project management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Proven track record managing complex technical or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance tasks; coordinate with vendors and facilities team.
• Oversee and coordinate renovation projects for functional, safe spaces.
• Manage facility operations including maintenance, security, space planning, and vendor management.
• Lead site-level emergency preparedness, business continuity, and risk mitigation planning.
• Manage facility-related budgets, contracts, and procurement of services and supplies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support workplace needs and site expansion/reconfiguration.
