Nightwing is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Facilities Site Lead to oversee the day-to-day management of site operations for two dedicated sterling, VA project facilities. The Facilities Site Lead will lead a small team providing full spectrum facilities operational support. This position ensures the facility remains safe, compliant, efficient and mission ready. The ideal candidate combines operational leadership and technical expertise to ensure facility readiness, execute facility preventative maintenance programs/plans, and to lead response to emergent facilities issues. This candidate will enjoy hands-on work and possess a broad range of maintenance skills to plan and perform routine maintenance activities and critical repairs. This role is responsible for maintaining facility systems and project assets in optimal working condition through proactive oversight, preventive maintenance, and timely response to operational and facility requirements. The Facilities Lead partners with the Program Manager and internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure projects are executed efficiently while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. Duties will include, but are not limited to, providing facility improvement solutions, maintaining the operation (mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural) of the building, oversight of subcontractors, lending expertise to cost estimates, performing routine inspections, and ensuring a safe work environment. The position requires a candidate who is self-motivated and demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills. The applicant will follow the Government holiday schedule and have the option to work a 5/80 or 9/80A daily work schedule. Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph
