Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Service Manager, you will oversee the operation and customer service of the EVS/housekeeping department.

Shift

2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain high cleanliness standards in assigned areas.
2. Participate in recruitment and staff selection.
3. Assist with scheduling housekeeping staff.
4. Assign work areas and project duties.
5. Plan and coordinate projects.
6. Attend departmental meetings and training.
7. Provide guidance and motivation to employees.
8. Participate in the facility's Quality Assurance Program.
9. Work with chemicals safely, using proper clothing and equipment.
10. Assign and monitor equipment use and maintenance.
11. Ensure equipment remains clean and professional in appearance.
12. Assist housekeepers as needed.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
2. Minimum 4 years support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience.
3. At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
4. Strong work ethic, drive, and commitment to quality and customer service.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Problem-solving skills for individual and group situations.
7. Participative management approach.
8. Understanding of budgeting, profit and loss.
9. Excellent organizational skills and prioritization ability.
10. Ability to work under stress.
11. CRCST or similar sterile processing certification preferred.
12. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
13. Associate’s degree preferred.
