Job summary

Adams County’s Fleet and Facilities division seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex facility capital programs from initiation through closeout. You will mentor the project management team, collaborate with stakeholders county-wide, and ensure projects align with master plans and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive project management experience on commercial facilities.
• At least two years mentoring or leading a team of Project Managers.
• Experience with sustainability/LEAN preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in PM/BA/Architecture/Engineering/CM; Master may substitute for two years experience.
• Valid CO driver's license; CM/PM/LEED certifications a plus.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees facility capital programs from initiation through completion.
• Mentors and leads the project management team.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to identify facility needs and long-range capital plans.
• Reviews contracts, change orders and pay requests for compliance.
• Prepares reports for public hearings and leadership.
• Integrates sustainable practices and environmental initiatives.
• Ensures projects align with master plans and county vision.
