Job summary

UNM Hospitals seeks a Planning & Construction professional to manage drawings, space planning/management, and the Geographic Information System (GIS) for University facilities. You will prepare conceptual and working drawings, specifications, and programming documents to support construction and renovation projects.

You may lead vendor execution to meet deadlines, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain project records through close-out.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
1 year related experience required.
Ability to coordinate design reviews and production.

Responsibilities

Catalog and maintain electronic documentation of drawings and project information.
Ensure project operations comply with design specs and policies.
Maintain digital floor plans and building feature drawings for facilities.
Prepare architectural programming documents and cost estimates.
Prepare procurement documents and approve invoices within budget.
Inspect buildings for occupancy suitability.
Create GIS layers and maintain GIS data.
Coordinate design reviews with managers and stakeholders.
Manage space planning/management system and signage.
Support close-out processes and inventory of drawings.
