The Office of The Military in Reno is seeking a Maintenance Repair Specialist 2 to support facility management and maintenance operations. Under general supervision, you will assist the supervisor, plan projects, review contractor work, and help develop maintenance policies.

The role requires broad skills across mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and equipment maintenance, with a record of leading or coordinating crews as needed.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in two or more major trades and one year of journey level experience including planning, material estimation, and supervision.
• Experience performing plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting tasks is preferred.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience as described in the job posting are acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Participate in project planning and review contractor work for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Develop facility maintenance policies and procedures.
• Provide information regarding facility operations and estimated costs for budget planning.
• May supervise lower level staff and oversee work quality and safety.
