Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; weatherization training may be required.
• Valid California Class C driver's license.
• Three years of full-time equivalent construction and building/grounds maintenance experience, with at least two years at Maintenance Worker II - Facilities level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect County grounds, buildings, facilities and related areas to determine maintenance needs.
• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and construction work (walls, roofs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Operate light and heavy equipment and supervise lower-level staff as assigned.
• Weatherize homes for low-income residents when assigned.
• Maintain water/wastewater equipment and systems; monitor and record data.
