Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician III, Facilities Maintenance to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on on-site kitchen equipment at corporate facilities. You will manage projects, coordinate resources, and ensure budgets and schedules are met while collaborating with internal teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trades, or 7 years' experience in these trades.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Eligible for CDL.
• 1 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on on-site kitchen equipment.
• Manage projects by coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring progress, mitigating delays and costs, and adhering to budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements by conducting risk assessments and providing safety instruction.
• Collaborate with team members and business partners to develop and implement processes that meet business needs and improve operations.
• Support teams by coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change.

Education

Vocational or Technical certification and experience in trades (5 years or 7 years depending on track)
