Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in Illinois to supervise maintenance crews, coach and train staff, and ensure the safe and reliable operation of hotel and casino facilities. This role involves leading preventive maintenance programs, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring standards of workmanship and safety.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in a related field, 7+ years of commercial property maintenance experience, and multiple

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in business, mechanical or electrical discipline or related field required.
• At least seven (7) years of commercial property experience in maintaining or repairing buildings, systems or equipment required.
• Must have completed at least four (4) maintenance certificates such as listed certificates or equivalent.
• Supervisor Essentials or Management Fundamentals training within six months of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a working supervisor; leads and coaches the crew by example and may perform maintenance tasks.
• Ensures safety of personnel and conducts regular safety meetings.
• Develops, schedules, and controls a preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment.
• Interviews, hires, trains, assigns, and directs work; evaluates performance and disciplines as needed.
• Prepares weekly work schedules based on staffing guidelines and labor forecasts; adjusts as needed.
