Job summary

Kanto Corporation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in Portland, OR to lead maintenance technicians and oversee all facility systems and safety programs. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and coordination of maintenance activities in a high-tech environment.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree with extensive maintenance and supervisory experience, knowledge of CMMS, and a proven track record of safety compliance in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with five years in industrial maintenance or an associate degree with ten+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of maintenance experience in regulated environments (chemical/semiconductor/high-tech).
• 5+ years of supervisory/managerial leadership in facilities maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, pumps, and controls.
• Experience with CMMS, safety programs (OSHA/LOTO), and coordination of downtime.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct maintenance technicians.
• Provide hands-on daily coaching and ensure equipment uptime and safety.
• Plan facilities modifications, cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts.
• Coordinate with management and local authorities; ensure OSHA/PSM compliance.
• Maintain CMMS records, equipment histories, and preventive maintenance documentation.
