Qualifications

• Diploma (High School) or GED.
• Five years of experience in a construction/facility maintenance trade.
• Three years of experience supervising shop personnel.
• Experience using a personal computer or microcomputer.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high degree of productivity, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and quality in shop performance.
• Monitors and controls key performance indicators and ensures adherence to budget.
• Provides timely and courteous customer service and communicates policies clearly.
• Coordinates and administers contractor work when it is more economical than inhouse work.
• Prepares statements of work, solicits bids, and secures funding for projects.
• Coordinates work with other shops and participates in reviews and training.
