Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Manager Facilities Engineering 3 in Linthicum, MD. The role oversees strategy, planning, and operations for a 2.2M sq ft campus across ~17 structures. You will manage staff, budgets, and capital planning while ensuring space requirements are aligned with business needs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (8+ years) or a Master’s (6+ years), strong budgeting, leadership, and communication skills, and eligibility for a U.S. Government Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with the indicated experience requirements.
• Experience with accounting and budget practices.
• Strong interpersonal communication across all management levels.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and contracted workers.
• Develop and oversee campus master planning and space utilization.
• Forecast multi-million dollar budgets and capital planning needs.
• Coordinate with units to determine space requirements.
• Ensure space data accuracy for Office, Lab, Manufacturing and Warehouse spaces.
• Oversee space allocation across locations.
• Lead long-range plans to meet future business needs.
• Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance with sustainability goals.
• Liaise with building owners on alterations/leasehold matters.
• Prepare executive-level space facilitation plans and briefings.
