Job summary

ExxonMobil in Midland, Texas, seeks a GHG Facilities Engineer to lead planning, development and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction projects within the Permian Basin. You will provide operations support, project execution and surveillance for surface facilities to enhance sustainability while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a blend of technical engineering, project management and stakeholder engagement, with the position based in Midland, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of oil and gas engineering experience focused on facilities or upstream unconventional.

Responsibilities

• Identify and scope new opportunities for GHG abatement within facility operations.
• Provide technical guidance on GHG mitigation technologies and strategies.
• Lead project management of facility upgrade projects from FEED to operations handover.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related field

3+ years of experience in an Oil and Gas engineering role with a focus on facilities or upstream unconventional
