Job summary

Perrigo is hiring a Facilities Engineer to support the Allegan and Holland manufacturing facilities. The role manages facilities-related capital projects, controls costs, timelines, and customer expectations, and provides engineering support for boilers, water systems, parking, roofs, and fire protection.

You'll coordinate maintenance activities, supervise staff and contractors, and contribute to safety, cost reductions, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
• Ability to write technical reports and gather data.
• 10–15 years managing capital projects with pharmaceutical experience.
• Experience coordinating trades and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility-related capital projects within time frames and budget.
• Coordinate maintenance staff and contractors to meet schedules.
• Accountable for boilers, purified water, wastewater, domestic water, and fire protection; also parking, roofs and floors.
• Support safety goals and drive cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Provide input on strategic direction for facilities and infrastructure.
