Job summary

RigUp, Inc. in Midland, Texas seeks a Brownfield Facilities Engineer to provide operations support and oversee small projects on existing assets, improving reliability and production efficiency.

You will assess discipline engineering work, ensure compliance with specs and safety standards, and collaborate across teams. Travel to nearby sites will be required; a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years Oil & Gas experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of Oil & Gas Facilities Engineering experience.
• Experience in Midland Basin facilities and process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support and surveillance for existing assets.
• Lead small projects to completion.
• Debottleneck new production volumes and batteries when needed.
• Close out Safety & Risk hazards through engineering actions.
• Minimize downtime and optimize production on existing assets.
• Review discipline engineering work for compliance with specs, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure effective communication among the team and other functions on engineering activities, progress, and issues.
• Be involved with ongoing operations of equipment and maintenance planning.
• Manage MOCs drawings and prepare scope of work and BOM.
• Perform red-lining of documents with P&ID proficiency.
• Travel to Big Lake, TX when needed.
