Job summary

Nissan seeks a Senior Facilities Engineer in Franklin, TN to support non-manufacturing facilities such as offices, distribution centers, and training spaces. You will collaborate with engineers and contractors on facility design, construction, and management to uphold standards and optimize performance.

You will lead capital projects from concept to closeout, develop scopes and budgets, mentor staff, ensure safety and compliance, and travel up to 25% across North America.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Five to seven years of related experience at a professional level.
• One to two years supervisory/work-leader experience coordinating others.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering reviews, Kaizen events, and improvements; establish standards and consistency across NA facilities.
• Act as SME for facility engineering, construction standards, and asset lifecycle planning.
• Lead capital projects from concept through design, construction, commissioning and closeout with scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with engineering standards.
• Analyze facility conditions and propose expansions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades across the US and Canada.
• Mentor engineers and project managers; support ASCEND program and talent development.
