Job summary

Amgen Thousand Oaks is seeking a Sr. Associate Facilities - Electrical & Instrumentation to lead maintenance and reliability of site electrical and control systems.

You will ensure safe operations and collaborate with operations, automation, and manufacturing teams to support GMP facilities. Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting validation and calibration programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in FDA (GMP) or regulated environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, generators, UPS, switchgear, and control systems.
• Strong instrumentation knowledge: calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting sensors and analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance leadership and technical expertise for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies for critical electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and investigations of electrical/instrumentation issues.
• Support lifecycle management, calibration programs, and asset replacement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, ISA, OSHA and calibration programs.
