Job summary

Peraton in McLean, VA is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee construction, maintenance and operations of critical facilities for government programs. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, a BA/BS plus 8+ years of experience, and at least 8 years in facilities maintenance.

You will supervise teams, manage vendor relationships, ensure OSHA compliance, coordinate with government staff and contractors, and support 24/7 building operations on-site.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience; four years may substitute for degree
• Minimum of 8 years facilities maintenance experience
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory/management role

Responsibilities

• Oversees construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and meet standards
• Demonstrates knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
• Manages design, planning, construction and maintenance of facilities for government ops
• Coordinates with management and contractors for upgrades and improvements
• Maintains 24/7 liaison for building emergencies and responses
• Ensures OSHA compliance and builds strong tenant relationships
• Organizes vendor management, work orders, scheduling and approvals
• Operates onsite daily to manage contractors and inventory
• Keeps accurate records of invoices and supply inventories
• Supports entry/exit logistics for non-operational deliveries
