Job summary

SkyWater Technology is seeking a Sr Staff Facilities Engineer to provide technical leadership for facility systems in a Texas location. You will guide technicians and engineers, specializing in cooling and HVAC systems, and ensure preventative maintenance aligns with specifications and schedules.

The role demands a 4-year technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 10+ years of work experience in facilities engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineers.
• Technical expert for cooling systems (chillers, glycol chillers, cooling towers, process cooling water, water treatment).
• Technical expert for HVAC systems (FTU's, make-up air handler units, air flow patterns, cleanroom filters, DX units).
• Review and ensure preventative maintenance are completed to spec and on schedule; manage system upkeep.
• Lead process changes through process control board and drive continuous improvements.
