The Role provides engineering support to non-manufacturing facilities, including office spaces, distribution warehouses, training centers, and technical/design facilities. Work with a diverse team of engineers and contractors responsible for: facilities design, construction, and management; engineering standards, cost estimation, talent management/employee engagement. Supports NNA's objectives in facility maintenance, construction/management, and non-manufacturing operations. Frequently interfaces with executive management and works cross-functionally to improve engineering performance indicators. Contributes to building the Nissan brand and achieving enduring, profitable growth. Supervisory Experience: One to two years in a work leader role coordinating the work of other employees or contractors. This includes training new employees, assigning work, and checking the timeliness and quality of work. May have provided input into performance reviews. Most time in work leader role would have been spent performing work similar to that performed by the people whose activities the position coordinates.* Ability to develop conceptual level designs and cost estimates for future model studies.
