Job summary

Virgin Galactic is seeking a Facilities Electrician, Specialist to own reliability, safety, and code compliance of GTS electrical systems, including power distribution, life-safety circuits, standby power, and building controls. This senior role serves as escalation point and mentors technicians.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related electrical work experience with minimal supervision.
• Certified journeyman or master electrician license.
• Experience mentoring or directing less experienced staff.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, reliability, and code compliance of complex electrical systems.
• Lead inspections and ensure regulatory code compliance.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring per codes.
• Mentor junior electricians and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to emergencies and manage documentation in the maintenance system.
