Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey seeks a Deputy General Manager for the World Trade Center Department. This senior leader will oversee operations, maintenance, asset management, and capital projects for the 16-acre World Trade Center campus, reporting to the General Manager.

You will manage staff, contractors, and budgets, coordinate with divisions and tenants, and serve on the senior management team to maintain Class A standards and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of ten years in facilities, infrastructure or project management.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff and contractors responsible for facility operations and maintenance.
• Oversee contracts, scopes, schedules, budgets, and performance of service providers.
• Direct maintenance and asset-management programs across key building systems.
• Coordinate capital projects and major maintenance with internal partners.
• Represent the organization to tenants, agencies, and stakeholders.
