Job summary
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a senior specialist to identify business requirements and lead configuration/administration of packaged software for health plan operations. You will design and test processes, work closely with business areas, and drive SDLC activities from design through documentation.
The role requires deep knowledge of Facets product configuration and strong SQL/data analysis skills to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 5+ years of experience in related field
- In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration and administration of the Packaged Software.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for application areas, including data definitions and business rules.
- Lead development of Package Software modification requirements and Interface Design Specifications.
- Configure necessary tables in Packaged Software to support the specific business areas.
- Establish and maintain all Packaged Software file configuration, including complex tasks.
- Plan and liaison with business areas during development and implementation.
