Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs. of experience preferred or transferable knowledge from similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structure and custom components within provided specifications and company quality specifications.
• Set-up, operate, and maintain fabricating machines such as orbital/linear welders, shears, saws, grinders, drill presses to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.
• Regularly check work to verify dimensions and make necessary adjustments so that product complies with the specifications.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Cross train as needed.
