Cool Gear International is seeking a skilled maintenance craftsman to fabricate, weld, and assemble custom workstations and related equipment. You will support automation installs, read blueprints, and ensure safety guard compliance while maintaining a clean, 5S workplace.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance with welding, along with forklift operation, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and the stamina to lift up to 60 lbs in a hot/cold warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Trade school certificate or completion of an Apprenticeship.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment including welding and fabrication.
• Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift.
• English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Spanish language skills: Able to read, speak and comprehend Spanish.
• Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Physical Demands: Manufacturing environment. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. stoop and bend.
• Work environment: Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate, weld, or assemble custom workstation for the ease of assembly coolers and cooler parts.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and manage material requests to support automation project installs.
• Build prototypes and custom equipment from concepts.
• Troubleshoot and update equipment safety guards to ensure compliance.
• Build job aids for manufacturing operations to promote ergonomic workstations.
• Provide technical support during new product and process introductions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
