Job summary

George P. Johnson Experience Marketing is seeking a Sr. Manager of Fabrication to oversee our Las Vegas fabrication shop. This on-site role requires daily leadership, staffing, and training of both union and non-union personnel to meet project demands.

You will drive production planning, quality control, and cross-department collaboration to optimize layout, stock materials, and workflow, ensuring best-in-class fabrication results for high-profile experiential campaigns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years of fabrication experience with management responsibilities.
• Experience leading both union and non-union shop staff.
• Strong knowledge of exhibit fabrication techniques and shop layout optimization.
• Ability to forecast labor requirements based on project workload.
• Proven track record in meeting quality, schedule, and budget goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, staff, and train fabrication team across multiple departments.
• Schedule and assign work to shop leads and crews.
• Oversee shop operations to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project management, Estimating, Engineering, and Purchasing to optimize processes.
• Develop talent pipelines and apprenticeships for future labor needs.
