Job summary

Olympic Steel Minneapolis Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabrication Manager with a strong background in metal fabrication and production to lead a high-performing team.

You will oversee operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, strong project management skills, and experience with SOP development and capital project support.

Qualifications

• Strong background in metal fabrication and production.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fabrication/production team to improve efficiency and utilization.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and SOP improvements.
• Collaborate with departments on projects, capital expenditure planning, and budget controls.
• Train and coach team members in safety, quality standards, and best practices.
