Job summary

Syren Technologies is seeking a Lead Fabric Service Engineering / Platform Support Engineer in the United States to oversee Fabric-related platforms, monitoring, and incident management. You will configure resources on new services, install and manage Fabric workspace, lakehouse, and pipelines.

The role focuses on platform optimization, memory and performance tuning, and go-live support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a fully functional cluster and smooth migrations across

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric services.
Strong incident, change, and problem management skills.
Experience configuring and maintaining large-scale data platforms in Azure.

Responsibilities

Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management
Platform Monitoring and optimization
Configure resources, settings on newly installed services
Configure file systems and necessary packages to support Microsoft Fabric
Install and configure server, agents, Fabric workspace, lakehouse, and pipelines
Resolve service health issues, tune server level settings for optimum performance
Platform team does smoke test of all the deployed services to ensure cluster is fully up and functional
Manage Migration between the environments
Manage job failures due to memory, space, bad data, code issue etc.
Infrastructure maintenance and upgrade/fix packs
New Applications on-boarding
License Management
Go-Live/Hypercare Support
