TekWissen is seeking a skilled FAA Repairman to join our aerospace client’s repair station. The role oversees, directs, assigns, and approves the work of repair staff, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and quality.

You will verify parts, inspect per IPC-A-610, manage documentation, schedule work, and provide maintenance estimates. A minimum of five years’ experience and FAA repair credentials are preferred; four-year technical degrees are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a technician in aerospace manufacturing or commercial aircraft environments.
• A&P Certificate or FAA Repairman Certificate experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and related technical documents.
• Four-year technical degree is a plus.
• Must be familiar with FAA regulations and FAR Parts governing maintenance, repairs, certifications, inspections, and repair station operations.
• Familiarity with IPC A-610 Inspection Standards and CMMs.

• Ensure parts and components removed from a repair station are routed to the correct assembly cell.
• Document work with a valid service and operation number and define the work scope.
• Inspect parts per IPC-A-610 and interpret inspection requirements.
• Utilize approved data, tools, and procedures for repair work.
• Schedule and assign work to repair station personnel.
• Provide estimates for out-of-scope or non-routine maintenance work.
• Interface with management and other departments to ensure compliance and quality.
• Publish maintenance reports and complete final documentation packages.
