Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced F5 Engineer to support government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. You will manage traffic, configure F5 LTM/ASM/BIG-IQ/APM, and ensure secure network infrastructure.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a BS in a technical field, and DoD 8570 IAT II certification. Expect to work onsite with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• F5 201 certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• DoD 8570 IAT II requirements (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
• 7+ years of F5 experience with LTM/ASM/BIG-IQ/APM.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration on multiple physical and virtual F5 across data centers.
• Develop and support customer technical requirements.
• Design, implement, and operate F5 products (LTM, ASM, BIG-IQ, APM).
• Provide clear technical documentation and procedures.
