LPL Financial seeks an F5 Engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced F5 network environments across data centers. The role emphasizes hands-on work with Viprion, I-Series, and R-Series hardware, LTM administration, and DNS with GTM.

Strong scripting and automation experience are required to streamline deployments. Requirements include 4+ years of F5 architecture and BigIP experience, plus a BS in CS or equivalent and familiarity with TCP/IP, Wireshark, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with F5 Architecture and BigIP Appliances.
• 4+ years of experience with designing and implementing redundant DNS with F5 GTM/Global Traffic Manager.
• Experience reading TCP/IP Packet Captures and using Wireshark.
• Experience with Ansible Automation.
• F5 Professional Certifications 201/301 desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and manage complex F5 network environments and architectures.
• Hands-on work with F5 BigIP hardware (Viprion, I-Series, R-Series).
• Administer F5 LTM including CLI commands and Route Domains.
• Design and implement redundant DNS with F5 GTM across multiple data centers.
• Create and administer F5 iRules.
• Deploy using F5 BIGIQ Management and Ansible Playbooks.
• Maintain TCP/IP knowledge and Unix/Linux variants.
• Read packet captures for data traffic troubleshooting.
• Understand DNS configurations for Internet and Active Directory.
