Job summary

RTX's Compression Systems Engineering group at Tinker AFB, OK is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to support the F135 Sustainment Program. The role focuses on engine hardware investigations, dispositions, and implementing designs and inspections onsite.

Interfaces with the Joint Program Office and military customers, documents findings to PW procedures, and may offer relocation eligibility. The position is US-based with an onsite work expectation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with 5+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as the onsite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
• Support projects implementing designs, inspections, and repairs meeting engine-specific requirements.
• Interface with the customer and Joint Program Office of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
• Conduct inspections and summarize findings per Pratt & Whitney procedures.
