Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the MSEN Design Engineering team in Oklahoma City onsite. You will resolve high-priority engine teardown and rebuild challenges and determine depot disassembly and rebuild resolutions.

You will collaborate across CIPTs, apply engineering standards, review teardown findings, and expand your structural analysis skills to influence durability, performance, manufacturability, and weight considerations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering design and/or analysis.
• Preferred aerospace experience and familiarity with PLM and 3D CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering support for engine teardown, inspection, and rebuild activities.
• Develop design solutions using Pratt & Whitney standards and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Serve as the CIPT design engineering representative balancing durability, cost, and weight.
• Evaluate MSEN hardware serviceability and document engineering decisions with leadership.
• Expand structural analysis expertise to support design improvements.
