The Aircraft Mechanic III serves as a senior-level technician, quality inspector, and team lead responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and mission readiness of twin-engine carrier-capable fighter jets. This role combines hands-on complex troubleshooting with crew leadership, demanding deep expertise in Navy-standard organizational and depot-level maintenance protocols.
The Aircraft Mechanic III acts as a technical authority on the F/A-18E/F Aircraft platforms. They perform, supervise, and verify deep-level maintenance actions, manage daily aircraft availability schedules, and mentor junior technicians. The position requires strict adherence to naval aviation technical manuals, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) instructions, and strict safety procedures like Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
ACET continues to expand its aerospace and aviation sustainment operations supporting multiple Department of Defense aviation platforms worldwide.
