Job summary

Lockheed Martin at Edwards Air Force Base is seeking an experienced F-22 Aircraft Maintenance Manager for the Edwards flight test site. This role provides direction to the F-22 Combined Test Force on the second shift (approx. 1430-2300).

Responsibilities include technical oversight of daily flight line operations and coordination with multiple teams, plus extensive planning and risk management for high tempo maintenance and flight test activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven maintenance leadership experience/Maintenance Control/ Production Supervisor.
• 15+ years of professional experience in managing flight test or high tempo operational maintenance and logistics environment.
• 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft Maintenance Experience.
• Experience with managing extensive aircraft modifications: Planning, Scheduling, Execution and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Specifically this includes technical direction and oversight of daily flight line operations; interaction with Ops personnel, Ops schedulers, Ground Ops, Air Vehicle Systems and MRB Engineers, Quality Engineering, Air Vehicle Managers and Air Force Production Superintendent(s) and organization leadership.
• Coordinates and integrates efforts of the "purple" team and Admin tasks such as performance appraisals, timekeeping, staffing & disciplinary actions for both salaried and hourly personnel.
• Scope of responsibilities includes detailed planning, requirements management, risk management, and flight test maintenance operations management. Oversees and directs maintenance activities associated with the management of flight test operations.
