Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an energetic test pilot to support the F-16 program at Edwards AFB, with growth to other projects. You will provide leadership, apply technical acumen, and help improve aircraft performance and flight test outcomes.

Responsibilities include PVI and requirements development, flight test planning, and demonstrating aircraft capabilities while traveling as needed. A strong background in F-16 testing is essential.

Qualifications

• FAA commercial pilot certificate (SE Land, Instrument Airplane) is required.
• Current FAA Class I or II medical certificate is required.
• 1,000 hours first-pilot time in a tactical aircraft is required.
• DOD Test Pilot School (TPS) graduate is required.
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid U.S. passport.
• Flying experience with F-16 is required.

Responsibilities

• PVI development.
• Requirements development.
• Market assist.
• Subject matter expert on all performance aspects of the F-16.
• Subject matter expert for flight test program including planning, run card development, test execution and reporting.
• Fly all models of the F-16.
