Silgan Dispensing is seeking a Sr. Eyelet Toolmaker to maintain control of eyelet stamping processes and support production scheduling. The role involves hands-on tooling development, setup, and repair to ensure quality and efficiency on high-speed equipment.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman license, 5+ years with Baird/Waterbury Farrel machines, and strong reading of blueprints, with excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with US Baird and Waterbury Farrel machines.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Experience with metal forming on high-speed transfer presses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, construct, alter and repair complex eyelet tooling (dies, punches, jigs, gauges).
• Insert tooling and troubleshoot eyelet tools and presses.
• Follow blueprints and specs to resolve dimensional and process issues.
• Operate and maintain tool-room equipment safely.
• Support production with hands-on tool changes and start-ups.
