Qualifications

• Journeyman license and 5+ years hands-on experience with US Baird and Waterbury Farrel machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from engineering data with high tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safe operation of tool-room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, construct and repair tools such as dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges and presses.
• Insert tooling and troubleshoot eyelet tools and presses.
• Follow blueprints and specs to resolve design and cost issues.
• Operate manual tool-room equipment and produce tooling for eyelet transfer presses.
• Repair and replace production tooling as needed.
