Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a factory floor technician to set up and run extrusion equipment and perform quality checks to ensure finished material meets specifications. The role involves daily coordination with Planning/Scheduling for downstream needs and regular communication with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues.

The candidate will work with a team on a dynamic shop floor, utilizing basic machine shop skills, hand tools and inspection equipment while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull and carry 30 lbs minimum.
• Experience with machine set-up is highly preferred.
• Ability to use inspection equipment to measure conformance.
• Working knowledge of hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machinery.
• Run production and perform quality checks against specs.
• Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream needs.
• Communicate with Maintenance/Engineering to address machine issues.
