Job summary

Medtronic is hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician III for our Danvers, MA site. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve extrusion manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated environment, mentoring teammates and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize performance.

This on-site role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with Engineering and Quality to ensure compliant operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical issues to minimize downtime and support production objectives.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on extrusion manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Interpret schematics and engineering docs to execute maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering on qualifications, process validations, and tech transfers.
• Apply Lean, 5S, TPM practices to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support burn room operations and specialized processing activities as required.
• Manage tooling inventories, spare parts, and equipment readiness for continuous production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Operations to meet objectives.
• Support regulatory compliance including GMP and safety standards.
